- HISTORIC RECONSTRUCTIONS
Reconstructions are paintings or drawings of buildings, and suchlike, which no longer exist or which have changed dramatically over the centuries. Some of these reconstructions are done with the use of photographs or old paintings (which may be of a very primitive nature), but others are based on old maps or other documents, or on archaeological studies.
