Banff (Rocky Mountains)
The Banff Hotel, in the Rocky Mountains in Canada.
This was one of the coldest places that I have ever sat and painted "on site". While I was sitting there amongst the trees, gradually turning into an ice cube, a little chipmunk appeared from the undergrowth. I was so still that he ran to and fro over my foot.
