Darsena Pesquera - Tenerife
The fishing port on the island of Tenerife, with a row of yachts moored alongside a big Russian trawler.
Tenerife is home to the capital town of the Canaries - Santa Cruz de Tenerife - and receives more than a third of the nine million foreign tourists who visit the islands annually. Despite this the principal town does not have an anchorage for visiting yachtsmen and until recent years it did not have a dedicated yacht harbour, or marina.
