The prices given here apply to commissioned paintings and drawings. Sizes are approximate. (They refer to the size of the piece of paper. If the paper has had to be stretched and taped, the image will be slightly smaller.)
Postage costs have not been included as they vary according to the destination.
Prices are given in pounds sterling, but I am equally happy to accept euros, US dollars, and Spanish dubloons. Payments can be made via PayPal or Google Checkout. Payments in sterling or euros can also be made by cheque.
The work will be supplied unframed. Frames are heavy and fragile, and posting them around the world does not make a lot of sense, either economically or environmentally. I am always happy to give advice about suitable matts and frames.

Gouache (Opaque watercolour)
I often use gouache for paintings which include lots of people. These paintings are usually humorous and cartoonesque; they have been described as reminiscent of Pieter Brueghel's paintings. Examples include The Prize Pig, Playa Chica, and Skating on the Pond. (Skating on the Pond is principally a watercolour, but I used gouache for the figures.)
Because these paintings contain a lot of detail they take a long time to produce and are consequently slightly more expensive than a pure watercolour. A large, complicated painting such as Playa Chica (22” x 15”) would cost somewhere in the region of £ 545. A much smaller, simpler one, such as the Prize Pig (approximately 11” x 7”) would cost about the same as a small watercolour - £ 95.
Ink Drawings
My line drawings are very intricate and take a long time to produce. The price includes the right to reproduce the drawing in a book, magazine, leaflet etc, or on a website.

Where a painting displayed on this website is available for sale the price will be shown alongside the image. Paintings which are displayed without either a price or the word SOLD are sitting in my mother’s spare bedroom, in England... And I am not, currently, in England. Thus, they are not available at the moment.
Eventually I hope to be able to provide top quality gicleè prints of a few of the paintings. At the present time I am still researching the possibilities and I have not yet chosen the few. If you are interested in buying a print of a particular painting, drop me a line and you might influence my decision!
