Princess Anne inspects the troops
2002 was the 500th anniversary of the discovery of St Helena, and to celebrate the occasion Princess Anne visited the island. On the morning of her arrival she met, and inspected, almost the entire population when they assembled, in their various troops and packs and clubs, in the town square.
