Coral House
This house is the only building on the little Cabo Verdean island of Sal Rei. The island is made of coral, and covered in sand and scrub, and the house is built from blocks which have been cut from the rock; it is made entirely of coral!
The building was once the home of the lighthouse keeper. It looks deceptively small. An adult standing outside and peeping in can only just peer over the window sills!
On the right of the picture are two lights, a fairly old one and its new replacement.
