Pteranadon Hang-glider Buy

This painting was done while I was making a series of illustrations for a children's book. In the course of researching the pictures I learnt that many dinosaur fossils have been discovered in the Isle of Wight; and I also learnt that there was once a creature called a pteranadon which had a wing-span approximately equal to that of a hang-glider.
The publishers were not amused by this liberal interpretation of their brief - which is a pity, as I still think that it was by far the best and most worthwhile of the illustrations.
