Weald and Downland Museum
The Weald and Downland is a wonderful open air museum just north of Chichester, in West Sussex (England). The museum is a showcase of traditional buildings from the local area. (The Weald refers to an area of former woodland in East Sussex, and the Downs is the name given to the range of chalky Sussex and Hampshire hills.)
The buildings are all ones which were considered to be of interest - either from an historical standpoint, or by virtue of their method of construction - but which were threatened with demolition.
