Home Schooling
The best kind of schooling is child led. When we are forced to do something we generally grow to hate it - how many people recite poetry or read Dickens for pleasure? - and kids who are force-fed their lessons often grow to loathe the very concept of schooling. Moreover, they tend to forget what they have been taught.
The only really worthwhile education is one which the pupil actively seeks. This kind of education may still be hard work - for example, learning Spanish grammar or mathematical equations is bound to involve some diligent study - but when we really want to do something we don't mind making the effort.
The very best sort of learning is acquired "on the go", and most of these photos show children doing just that.
