Insects
The class Insecta contains all of the six-legged members of the Arthropod phylum. Most insects have a three stage life cycle, with the animals progressing from the egg to a larval stage, and from the larval stage to adulthood. All adult insects have a body which is divided into three parts - head, thorax, and abdomen. Most adult insects have wings, or vestigal wing cases.
