Knights Templars
These men are taking part in the Wine Horse fiesta at Caravaca de la Cruz. The festival celebrates the True Cross, the legend of the wine horses, and the Reconquista - and all at one sitting!
After the horses have had their turn, the people process around the town dressed either as Muslim Moors or as Christian knights and ladies. The men in the photograph are dressed as "Knights of the Temple", for it was the templars who founded the castle which overlooks the town.
