These statues are some of the many which ornament the principal doorway of the Basilica de Santa Maria la Mayor, in Morella (Spain). Each sculpture represents a different saint, but as the artist seems to have reckoned that one saint looked much like another - portraying them all as melancholy old men with long robes and long beards - it is difficult to decide which is which.
