Langstone Mill (1)
Langstone is a picturesque village on the shores of Chichester Harbour. It is very popular with artists - indeed, the old, black tower mill on the right hand side of this photograph used to be home to a watercolourist.
Langstone is also a popular watering hole. It has two pubs - the Royal Oak and the Ship - both of which overlook the harbour. The Royal oak is so near to the water that when the equinoctal spring tides coincide with a gale the carpets are sometimes awash.
