Morella Castle (2)
This mediaeval castle has seen a great deal of action down the centuries and is consequently somewhat battered. Its hilltop situation made it virtually unassailable but, as ever, the inhabitants could be conquered by an enduring seige. They were also once conquered by another, more devious means: a crack team of soldiers climbed up the garderobe, or sewage pipe, and got into the castle via the one-holer.
