Between 2 Seas
This half-built villa stands on the La Manga sand strip, perilously close to the Mediterranean and just as near to the Mar Menor. Not only is it in the front line for the rising sea, it is also a prime target for the Spanish government's new hard-line policy of removing all buildings which have been constructed within 100 metres of the beach. (The La Manga strip is not actually 100 metres wide at this point...)
Which will arrive first - the bulldozers or the waves?
