Mosque in Melilla (2)
The mosque was designed by Enrique Nieto in 1930.
Unlike most traditional mosques, the "Mezquita Central" is more than a place of worship. The upper story of the building is an Adult Education Centre, and there are a number of shops facing out into the street on the lower floor.
