Harnessing Horse to Mill
An old white horse stands patiently while she is fitted with the harness which will enable her to work a water-lifting mill, or noria.
Presumably an animal who had to do this work all day and every day would be less co-operative, but for this lucky beast life is a flower-filled meadow. Her Friday morning performance on the mill pedestal is probably the highlight of her week.
