An unusual place to walk the dog.
This is part of the salinas (or salterns) de Marchamalo, at Cabo de Palos, in southern Spain.
This salt pan has been disused for more than ten years but, thus far, local environmentalists have saved the site from being reclaimed and covered with holiday homes.
