Bosham Mill
Bosham Mill stands on the shores of Chichester Harbour in West Sussex (England). Local people claim that it is the oldest mill in the region and some say that the daughter of King Canute drowned in the millstream. This charming legend is without foundation, and there is not a shred of evidence linking Canute to Bosham.
Claims regarding the mill are on a much firmer basis, and there is even the possibility that the Romans had a watermill on this same site.
The mill is now home to the Bosham Sailing Club.
