Georgian Farmhouse at Fishbourne.
This house is a fine example of the local 18th century building style. Red stretchers and blue headers have been used to make an interesting and attractive front. The side walls of the house are built from flint rubble which was, in that time, a much cheaper material.
The middle window, above the porch, was probably bricked up to avoid the 19th century Window Tax.

Fishbourne is just to the west of Chichester, on the eastern-most limb of Chichester Harbour. This house stands immediately adjacent to the Roman Palace museum, and it is very likely that part of the palace lies amongst its foundations.
