Castle and Town of Morella
Morella is a small, very ancient town in the north-western corner of the region of Valencia, Spain.
The hill-top site must been extremely valuable during the long, long era when the survival of a tribe or nation depended upon its ability to make war - or, at the very least, to defend itself from attack. The castle has been besieged many times over the millennia.
