Old Welsh Rectory Buy

The former rectory for the little church of St Aelrhiw, on Rhiw mountain (Lleyn peninsula, North Wales).
This was the residence of the priest who served the tiny, widely dispersed community of Rhiw. It is now a private dwelling house.

The garden gate leads directly into the little churchyard, and the church is just to the left of the house. It evidently occupies a very old site, because the road - a single-track narrow lane - makes a sharp, u-bend detour around the two buildings.
